IIEF – Inclusion and Integration in Europe
The European Education Institute (EELI) organized and hosted the third intergovernmental meeting of the Erasmus + / KA2 European Strategic Partnership Strategic Partnerships, entitled “IIEF – Inclusion and Integration in Europe for Experts in Pre-school Education, Youth and Social Work”. The meeting was held in Rethymnon on 24, 25 and 26 September, at the Institute’s premises. The meeting was attended by program partners, teachers and social workers from Social and Educational Institutions in Germany, Ireland and France.
During the meeting, the following visits were carried out, with the aim of exchanging views and programs on the integration of vulnerable social groups:
- at the Center for the Open Protection of the Elderly in Mastaba Rethimnon,
- at the 5th Gymnasium of Rethymnon “Arsanio Gymnasium”
- in the Special School of Rethymnon,
- at the 2nd Kindergarten in Rethymnon.
Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality of: (a) Vasilis Vasilakis from KAPI Mastabas, as well as the KAPI members who participated in the meeting, (b) Rena Papatriadafyllou and the teachers of the 5th Gymnasium, as well as the KEKAPERS instructors, who (c) Battle of Kaspiri and Antonia Karampetsou from the Special School of Rethymnon, and (d) Stella Franzszak from the 2nd Kindergarten of Rethymno, who accepted us in their schools and presented us with their educational programs.
